Scope, boundaries and responsibilities for BaiSourcing services. This page is a summary — confirm specific terms in the project agreement before work starts.

Sample Procurement

What is included: Technical review of received samples against the audit specification — component identity, label accuracy, BOM alignment. Pass/fail recommendation issued in writing.

What is not guaranteed: Physical sample procurement, courier coordination, import duties, and sample cost reimbursement are managed between buyer and supplier. Sample logistics timelines depend on the supplier's turnaround and shipping routes — not controlled by this service.

Supplier Matching

What is included: Engineering-screened supplier shortlist based on verified component profile, required certifications, production capacity, and order quantity. Screening logic is shared with the buyer.

What is not guaranteed: Final supplier selection is the buyer's decision. No guarantee that any shortlisted supplier will accept the order, match the target price, or pass subsequent sample review. Exclusive supplier relationships or pricing agreements are not part of this service.

Production & Factory QC

What is included: Inline or final factory inspection against the frozen BOM and approved sample spec. Findings are documented with photographic evidence and a recommended action. Focuses on the risks identified in the original audit, not a generic checklist.

What is not guaranteed: Production remediation is managed between the buyer and the factory. QC inspection cannot compel a factory to rework or replace non-conforming goods — only the buyer can enforce production changes through their commercial relationship. Inspection results reflect conditions at the time of visit; post-inspection production changes are outside scope.

Pre-Shipment & Shipment Coordination

What is included: Pre-shipment inspection: packaging compliance, carton marking, quantity count, and unauthorized substitution check. Release recommendation issued. Shipment coordination: timing discussion, loading documentation review, and port-of-loading confirmation support within a defined project scope.

What is not guaranteed: Freight forwarding, customs clearance, inland delivery, carrier rate negotiation, and import documentation are arranged independently by the buyer or their freight forwarder. No guarantee on transit times, customs outcomes, or carrier availability.
