How do you check cell authenticity?

Yes — motor type, pump construction, pressure/airflow output and continuous-run behavior are measured and compared with claims.
What about protection boards?
The PCB/BMS is inspected for overcharge, overdischarge and short-circuit protection; a cheap board is a common cost-cutting point we flag.
